- Make Up Air
A Make up Air unit is design to provide air and or replacement air to a facility. It can be heated air, cool air, and ambient temperature air. When air is exhausted out of a building it produces a negative air pressure within the building. Make up Air Units bring new air into a building, counter balancing air loss within the building. These units also heat or cool this air as it is brought into the building.
- Unit Heaters
Unit Heaters are a self contained unit that typically hang from the ceiling and simply blow hot air into a given space. These Unit Heaters are commonly used on shipping docks or in warehouses.
- Heat Exchangers Plate, Shell and Tube
Heat Exchangers are used if you are exhausting hot air out of a building and you have to replace that air back into the building. Hot air that is being exhausted actually preheats colder air as it is being brought into the building. This warm air heats up the plates, shell or tube inside so as the cool air is brought in it has a heat gain as it passes through. They simply reduce the amount of energy required to reheat the outside air.
- Infrared Heat, Gas and Electric
Infrared Heater, also called a tube heaters, burn natural gas, propane or are electric. The hot air stream is blown down a tube that radiates heat. This heats an object not the air. A radiated reflected type of heat.
